Dr. Kwon wins the Grand Prize of the MSK Young Investigator Awards

Dr. Soon-Kyeong Kwon, a research professor in the JFK lab at Yonsei University, has won the Grand Prize of the MSK Young Investigator Awards for 2017. Among other contributions, she found a new class of microbial rhodopsins that pumps out sodium ions from her work on microbial genomics.
